1) I love those cardboard-y boxes that you can get at AMoore and Michaels that are in pseudo french and have butterflies all over them.

2) My mug collection is growing to the point where I've kept my doctor who mugs in their boxes for easier stacking/display.

3) Dragon Quest is the only video game series that I play.

4) I have discoloured skin and permanent depressions in my middle finger on my right hand from sucking that finger and my ring finger when I was kid. (and longer because it was a self soothing technique when I needed it while I was a teen)

5) If I had the money, I'd love to see the Phantom of the Opera on Broadway.

6) My dad yells at me for being messy, but I totally get that personality trait from him.

7) I have nearly the entire set of Iron Man 3 Micro mugs. So close... So close...

8) I haven't turned my Dalek projection alarm clock back an hour for Daylight Savings yet. I probably won't.

9) I'm currently fighting the battle of hunger vs laziness. (I have to take my meds still, oops, so hunger will win out soon.)

10) Growing up I collected teddy bear figurines, the Bainridge Bears if I remember right.

So I came on here after a few hours of ignoring life and crocheting to keep my brain from working because I finally felt okay enough to want to talk

I had a kinda shit day. Shit day.

It honestly wasn't bad but I just felt weighted down all day and that made everything just twenty times worse at least.. Couldn't get out of bed. Was late for work. Cried. Had a headache. Was angry and mean for no real reason. Had a worse headache. Got, not yelled at but, that annoyed sigh of 'i have to do everything around here' after I had done the dishes and then cooked dinner and would have done the dinner dishes if I had been given the time. Still had a terrible headache.

So I've felt pretty low and shitty to start with and then lower and shittier from the day and was just trying to keep moving because I knew the second I stopped I would be done.

And then I came on here and to really catch up on stuff and not just see enough posts to keep my queue going.

And I saw I had a message.

And it really made my night.

Teared up in a good way.

1) I have three American Girl Dolls. Addy was my first <3 Josefina is my second. And I stole Felicity from my sister Alana after she was abandoned to the boxes in the basement when Alana went to college. My sister Ashleigh did have Samantha but I don't know what happened to her, otherwise I would have rescued her too.

2) Kappa are my favorite mythological/folklore creatures.

3) Eeyore has always been my favorite Pooh character, even before I could fully relate to his sadness.

4) Lilacs and yellow alyssum are my favorite flowers.

5) I'm currently re-watching Gegege no Nyobo because <3 Mizuki Shigeru and because I only saw the first 40 or so eps and I want to see the whole series.

1. Who/What is your favorite book character? Why?

I love ordinary characters who become extraordinary. I love Alec from The Nightrunner Series because he started out as an illiterate hunter who's only knowledge of life are the woods he grew up in and the way of life his father taught him. But when a stranger needs help, he doesn't think anything of taking care of a man who, is literally losing his sanity and accidentally tries to kill him. Donna from Doctor Who spends the entire time she is with the Doctor believing herself to be nothing more than a temp and becomes a person of legend because she refuses to let injustices she sees around her stand unaddressed. I adore characters who are ordinary and become extraordinary through circumstances and never believe themselves to be doing anything of note.

2. What is your favorite movie?

Oh gosh oh gosh um... The Avengers, Iron Man, Labyrinth, Princess Bride, Ever After, Mulan, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Fivel Goes West, Pacific Rim. I CAN'T CHOOSE JUST ONE OKAY?!

3. What is your favorite song/music genre?

My favorite song is the guitar acousitic version of I'll Be by Edwin McCain. If someone is ever foolish enough to love me enough to marry me this is going to be our wedding song and if they don't want it to be there will be no wedding.

4. Name a random fact about yourself.

Ever since learning Japanese I use onomatopoeias instead of words to describe things sometimes. And I make random sounds instead of using words because I thinks are more descriptive and emphatic than the words I could use. Sometimes I want to use them when I type and it makes me mad that I don't know how to properly convey the noises into to type.

5. What is something that nobody else knows about you?

The day my nephew was born I was excited and happy to have met him and completely relieved because I had spent the entire month preparing to kill myself and he was the last "unfinished business" I had. I didn't want my death to stress my sister out and put her and the (then unborn) baby at any risk.

6. What is your favorite season? Why

The fall because everything is quieting down and slowing down. I *hate* being hot and the days in the fall are still warm but the nights are crisp. And you run the possibility of snow. (I also tend to have less frequent severe cycles in the fall)

7. Do you have a favorite animal?

Butterflies (Old World Swallowtails are my [current] favorite) and Elephants (Asians more than African's but I love both)

8. Name a place/country/continent that you would like/love to visit/live.

The Kansai area of Japan or Western Massachusetts.

9. What is your favorite sweet (candy)?

Twix or Hershey bars with almonds. I *love* rock candy too.

10. What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?

Whale sashimi at a high end kaiten-zushi place in Japan.

Favorite food?

Pepperoni pizza. I literally gained 60+ pounds in college because I discovered I could eat pizza for every single meal at the dinning commons and I did.

Favorite OTP?Why? 

Gosh this question is hard. I can't choose an all time favorite so we'll go with my current fave Steve/Tony. I love them together for so many reasons. I honestly feel like even if you take away the shipper goggles the relationship they have is so profound. They are two sides of the same coin and they are the balance that holds the marvel universe together.

If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?

The suburbs of Kobe, Japan.

When being introduced to a new fandom do you immediately have an OTP or does it take a while for you to join the madness?

A few of my fandoms I've been introduced to through an OTP that my friends have and share. Like 00Q and Destiel. Others I developed while in the fandom. Like Draco/Ron, and all my TeniPuri and Kpop OTPS.

Do you have any tattoos? Do you want some?

I have two. I have purple wings surrounding a sword on my left shoulder blade that I got for my 16th b-day. And the eye logo of my favorite band, Pierrot (a jrock band), on my right foot. I want the butterfly from the Metallic Butterfly album flyer from the band Angelo (a jrock band made up of my three favorite Pierrot members after Pierrot disbanded) on my left inside ankle. I also want the Captain Marvel quote "And We Will Be The Stars We Were Always Meant To Be" around my right wrist. And I joke that I want the Superhusbands Shield on the back of my neck under my hairline.

Most embarrassing moment in your life?

Oh gosh there are *SO* *MANY* moments to choose from. But hands down the one that haunts me the most is this. When I lived in Japan I got tickets to go see Angelo perform and I was over the moon. However I was by myself and my kanji skills were *horrible* so I didn't understand that you have to give a 500yen drink fee in order to get in (and you get a 'free' drink token with that fee). So I didn't carry any money on me when my number group was called in and I got into a very public discussion with two of the security guards and I just kept not understanding and they got fairly rude about it. When I finally understood what they meant I had to run back to the locker I left all my stuff in and get the money and get back in line. I was already getting looks for being a foreigner. After that I was getting even more looks. Even now I feel so stupid for not understanding even though I'd been studying Japanese for years and had been living there for 8 months. Still the concert, aside from that moment, was one of the best nights of my fucking life. IT WAS SO SO SOOOOO AMAZING despite the still crippling embarrassment of that incident.

Do you believe in reincarnation?

I'm not really sure. I do believe that our loved ones watch over us after their gone but I suppose that after they have no one left to watch over they have options. I don't believe that existence ends with death so I don't see why the option for reincarnation wouldn't be there.

Do you have any pets? What kind?

I have a dwarf hamster that's over two and a half years old. His name is Kou-kun and he out lived his brothers despite the fact that when they were babies he was the one who was nearly eaten and abused by the other two.

When I get assigned numbers from different things (ie my student loans and such) I am uncomfortable if they don't have 4, 7, 8, or 9 in some combination in it. Time to be generic! What's your favorite color? Why? What emotions does that color generate for you? is it tied to any certain memory?

Yellow! I've liked yellow since, forever? since I was at least six years old. I think I choose yellow because it just says sunshine, and warmth, and daisies. I thought if I saw of yellow all the time that I'd be happy :)

Say you were transported into the Teen Wolf fandom. You have the choice of being a Hunter or a Werwolf. Which do you choose? and if you chose wolf, would you be an Alpha, Beta or Omega?

This is such an awesome question! and also really hard.

I'm torn because if I was thrown into the actual Teen Wolf universe I could easily be a hunter, because I already know how to shoot a gun and I'm really good with a bow and arrow... but.. I'd really love the bite, because I have glasses and I'd want them gone and the added hotness + Speeed + Healing is so cool. If I did get the bite I'd definitely be a Beta.

If you were granted to meet one of your idols/ role models - whether they are real or fictional - who would you meet and why?

oh my GOD that's hard. Well.. I couldn't pass up an opportunity to talk to Tom Hiddleston. I know my mind would go completely blank, but then at least I could hear him talk. (But a close second would be getting a T pose hug?)

Aries, apparently. I don't think it fits me. And no I definitely don't believe it, but, that said, I think it's just a fun way for people to fit in to something. Like picking a Hogwarts house, you know?

Once I'm in, I'm in. And then I OBSESS.

Not so much individual characters, but I definitely get emotionally attached to pairings. Like, sickeningly so.
