Whinge and whine are pronounced differently! Also. It’s called English so technically we’re doing it right & you just don’t have enough letters ;) haha

Do you not say “whinge" in America? It means the same thing, but it’s a different word to whine and whining.

Haha. Whinge and whine are pronounced differently. (=
So, a few pages after I posted this another character said the word whine, and my basic reaction was "I just made a really ignorant text post, someone's gonna call me out on it, but I'm too tired to go edit it". Thanks for being nice about it guys, haha. But yeah, I just looked up the pronunciation of this, and I have never heard someone use this word in my life. I'd assumed they were the same because I looked up the meaning of the word and it was the same as whine essentially and I believe one sight basically told me it was the Brit- English (I never quite know hot to say this.) alternative to whining.
Oh well, you learn something new everyday. If anyone wants to elaborate on any differences between the words, that'd be great!
