R E C O N N E C T I N G Recently, this strong willed one got into a little teeny tiny issue at school. We've been so caught up with some new adventures / challenges in our lives that we sometimes forget how our little one still needs us to be PRESENT. It's been a long time since we took some time off and focus solely on AR. So today, Mama decided to let her skip 1 day of school, no gadgets, no distractions. A whole day.. focused on her. We played. We talked. We listened. We cried. We laughed. A whole day, just Mama and Ava. (#papahulk is on weekend duty.. 🤪) Today definitely reminded me the importance of reconnecting with our little ones. In our busy lives. We often forget, even tho our little ones are growing up daily and we teach them to be independent. At the end of the day, they still need us. They still want to connect and reach out to us.
