(I made this a while ago for the Oxford Whosoc meme group, am reposting here because I still like it.)
I personally headcannon the TARDIS kitchen to be little more than a small, rather tired looking kitchenette. It has: a stainless steel sink, under which is a few bins; some rather tired laminate countertops; overhead cupboards along the wall that match the coutertops; and a half height fridge under the counter. The floor is a grey linoleum, and the lights are warm and flourescent. By the kettle, there are some jars with “Tea” and “Sugar” and such like on them. Nearby is a large-ish teapot, that could possibly do with a clean, but is hidden by the associated teacosy. The teacosy is the only element of the kitchenette that changes with the Doctor. The following is what I think the teacosies look like.
