anyway; updated blue’s sprite to be shaded more like cvio, made his walk cycles nicer & animated the flames. Uh. Then I got carried away.

Teal x Grillblue | Any | Both

Blue’s hand twitched into a fist and his flames flickered violently. Maybe it was the alcohol in his system, or maybe it was the bad day he had, or maybe it was the fact that this guy’s grin pissed him off, but he definitely felt like punching him. A couple of times. Maybe knock his glasses off his face and knock him out all in one punch.

Blue raised his fist to his face and kissed his knuckles. He swiftly hopped over the counter and swung his fist.

“HERE’S YOUR GOODNIGHT KISS, ASSHOLE!!” He roared. The fist connected with Teal’s face, and the other fire elemental spun before he fell. Blue scowled at his fallen figure, but it melted off of his face when Teal gave way to green. 

The entire bar fell silent while the patrons watched Teal rise to his feet, green overtaking the teal of his flames. He stood tall and proud, even with cracked sunglasses, and Blue felt like he may have made a mistake.

You wake up to the sun in your eyes and roll over with a groan, then pull the covers over your head. You don't want to get out of bed. You want to stay in it forever. It's so warm and comfy and you were up very late last night. Good dates were fun, but ever since you started dating Teal, you've realized that great dates were even more fun…and they usually ended early morning.

The mattress dips under the weight of someone beside you, and your response is to curl up under the covers. A large, warm hand traces the curves of your body over the covers, and you blush from your hiding spot. Who was this…? Where were you?

You peek out from under the covers to see who the mysterious person is, and you're surprised to see Teal. He gives you a warm smile and pulls the covers a little further off of your head.

“Good morning.” He leans in and kisses you lovingly on the lips. “Breakfast is ready. We're waiting for you.”

With that, he gets up and leaves to let you get dressed. As soon as the door closes behind him, you throw the covers off and realize that you’re not in your bed. You frantically look around and realize that you’re in Teal’s room, sleeping in his bed.

The small blush on your face explodes to your ears and down your neck, and it goes from a slight pink to tomato red. Just what happened last night?! The last thing you remember was talking on a park bench and cuddling into his side for warmth…

Oh. You must have fallen asleep there and he must have taken you home. To his home. Not yours. And gave you his bed. Or...were you two asleep in the same bed…?

Your blush deepens me you force yourself not to think about it anymore. You need to calm down for breakfast! You jump up and get quickly dressed, and, after a moment's hesitation, you fix the bed and make it nice and neat as a thank you for letting you sleep in it...and maybe Teal...sleeping…

A small, flustered noise escapes you and you shake your head vigorously. You can't be blushing at breakfast!! They'll ask what's wrong and then how are you gonna get out of it? It would be so embarrassing.

You leave the bedroom and head to the bathroom in hopes of washing the sleepiness and the blush away from your face. Hopefully, by the time you sit down for breakfast, you'll look normal and you'll fit in. For now, though…

For now, you needed to stop thinking about Teal's warm body against yours in the hypothetical situation of having slept in the same bed as you.
