Summary: Sasuke found out that Itachi defeated Orochimaru. And promptly decided to ditch the Sound Four and the curse seal, and to stay in Konoha.

Canon divergence (in which sasuke slowly but surely finds out that staying in Konoha is the worst decision of his life)(and the only decision he made), completed, 90K-ish words.

No romantic relationships, but Team 7 is a highlight, and as always a variation of parental!kakashi is there.

I think it would be so cool to see Naruto (as a title I mean) from Sasuke's perspective.

if we really would feel Sasuke's hate and despair when all you loved were killed and u lost all bonds u had and u couldn't do anything, and even when you discover the truth you are still helpless in fact. and I think it would be cool if we really would want everyone guilty to suffer.

and then Naruto would appear, trying to understand Sasuke and make it better.

you can say that actually we can see all this stuff when without sasuke'e pov, but well, guess I understand him but I still don't feel this emotional damage that I could.

I feel like this contrast between Sasuke and Naruto (sun and moon, light and darkness u know) was created because some bad guys just needed to be punished. I mean while Naruto didn't kill anybody and tried to understand everyone, Sasuke just KICKED THEIR ASSES
