Team X-Factor is the defensive team tasked with protecting civilians caught in battle zones or defending the vital areas of the school and student body should Xavier’s itself come under attack. They are not to be underestimated, however, as all the members are experienced, formidable combatants. Creative use of defensive powers is crucial to earning a spot on this team.

Team X-Force is the offensive team tasked with meeting enemies head on usually after the X-Men have first engaged. They are also assigned targets to complement the first string team’s goals, however, and can be assigned strike team duties. Destructive powers are most likely assigned to this team.
