Imma just put this here. Once upon a time I swore supernatural was gonna be another twilight. I avoided it so much. After enough begging from my best friend I struggled through the first episode. This was about three weeks ago.
Today. I am on season seven. I scream and yell and cry at the tv, I have officially named all my family and friends as their spn characters. I’m dean, my lil sister is Sammy my father figure is Bobby, and so on.
I’ve been so fixated on this story especially the bond between these brothers that I cooked, and cleaned while watching this show and hollering like a howler monkey.

Looking for something for Bobby Thursday, this fan made print came up. Love that it has the quote on it - and the boys who are very much Bobby’s family. For starters, Happy 67th birthday to Jim Beaver! Who, according to his IMDB page was born today in 1950.
Sorry, this post will be a bit long, so I will use the ‘read more’ here, but if you’d like to read more, please do. I’m hoping someone (or more than one someone) who has been a fan of the show longer will be able to help me answer this question more definitively. :)
My initial investigation into this question happened when I saw this post by @elizabethrobertajones about the zodiac signs of Dean, Sam and Castiel. (I have to say I love the part about Castiel’s being the same as the Earth’s!) That made me wonder what Bobby Singer’s birthday might be.
I started with the Wiki and found that it stated Bobby’s birthday is August 12, 1950. This was all the information I went on until I messaged Lizbobjones about her post and the date and she wasn’t sure they had actually given him Jim Beaver’s actual birth date, so I decided to research a bit further.
The fan wikia had the above information - and the same birthday.
The Supernatural Wikia doesn’t list a date, just the year - 1950. So, it seems like a bit of a consensus, but I kept digging.
I found an older site that gives his birthday as May 4, 1947, and just in case something happens to the site, and to save me some typing, I took a few screenshots of the information:
Now, since I am still only getting ready to start season 6, I have not seen the episode they mention, but I followed the YouTube link they gave, and try as I might, I could not figure out what numbers Bobby punched in as his birthday. Here is the YouTube video:

So, I am not sure if the matter of Bobby Singer’s birthday is cannonically settled, and I’d really like it to be. Do any fans out there have any other evidence they could add that might help to settle this question?
