My poor heart
As it comes with any fandom, death is unavoidable. I always feel a pang of hurt when a character I’ve come to love dies in a show, but sometimes I expect it. Game of Thrones is a perfect example of this because FUCK YOU GRRM. Nothing more really needs to be said about that particular show, because it’ll refuel a rage that has finally quieted within me.
Then there’s Teen Wolf. This show is where I first experienced back-to-back major (they’re major to me, okay? okay.) character deaths over the span of two episodes. The loss of Allison and Aiden still aren’t okay with me and I know I will forever have to skip the end of season 3B because of it.
Tonight I had to relive the whole losing two very well loved characters back-to-back. Granted there was a small gap due to a short break but the episodes are still one after another. I have boarded many ships in this show, and now my two biggest have sunk beyond repair. Lexa’s death gutted me, I honestly didn’t think there’d be any coming back from it on an emotional level. Then there were a few weeks of recovery only for the show to come back tonight and have Lincoln taken away. That was a brutal death and I’m honestly surprised they showed it in as much detail as they did. The deaths of the children didn’t surprise me or even phase me, they never showed the kids being killed or even Aden’s head which I think was a smart move on their part being that this is the CW and not HBO. But Lincoln? Yeah, there’s no hope for my heart after this one. My heart will forever have a crack in it.
But, more importantly, thank you Ricky for an amazing three seasons with a character that has shown so much growth. Lincoln was easily one of my favorite characters and while I’m sad to see you both go, I hope you move onto bigger and better things.

God knows I’ve never cried and been as attached to a character in a TV show like I have with Commander Lexa. She was beyond inspiring, breath taking, and beautiful in ways that will always leave an imprint in my heart. It is painful to let her go and I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way, but there is no point to live in hatred over what happened and act out of spite. I am just thankful that I got to experience this powerful and intimate moment between two amazing women on screen. This moment speaks volumes of how far our society has come; that to me is a blessing in itself. May we meet again.
I can't be on tumblr and see my dash full of heartbroken clexa's all Lexa's and clexa gif are making depressed. I need to get off here for a while until the pain fades away.
