Game Log: Luna the Moon Princess
Tonight, I decided to take out Luna, the 9th Evee I have captured and train her towards becoming an Umbreon,
I had originally intended to use Dusk, my 8th caught Evee, but picked Luna, perhaps for her 3 levels above Dusk.
So, I ended up spending time with Luna, giving her experience and attention.
She's one of my only Pokemon who enjoys using the camera to have me make funny faces at her. At the end of the night, she has maxed out hearts and enough pokepuffs to feed a poke-army.
I also spent a little time on EV Training. She had a predisposition to Attack and Special Attack, so I capitalized on that while making sure her Speed and Defense were up to scratch. Luna seemed to be in agreement, too! She found a Special Attack training bag before we even began!
I started her off on a Double Up Bag and went straight into Level 2 Attack Training. She did fantastic, but her time was a little long, so we went back to Level 1 Special Attack Training, for which she made record time!
In the end, I trained her HP from a baseline level to a very formidable one, watched her score record time after record time in Attack, Special Attack and Speed, which i did not expect!
In the field, she seemed to show resistance to dark moves, which looks very promising for my Umbreon-in-training! We leveled her up to exactly midnight, at level 25.
However, Nurse Joy wished me a good evening...so I figured, why not go for Level 30? So back into the field she went.
She wanted to learn a Fairy move, but out of fear that she'd evolve to Sylveon, I declined. Do not get me wrong, I LOVE my Sylveon, but Luna is my Umbreon-in-training!
Also, because I become far too attached to little bundles of pixels, I apologized. Out loud.
I AM AN ADULT.
One Hawlucha almost had her, but she pulled through at the last second, to "show her best side!" Adorable.
Battle after battle, she visibly improved going from needing potions and X Attacks to my one-crit wonder!
At Level 29 and 1 am, Nurse Joy was still wishing me a good evening, so with care, we continued.
Then, we ran into a hoarde of Nosepass! Let me be frank.
I. Fucking. Hate. Motherfucking Nosepass.
Robo-moving shits freak me out and annoy the fuck out of me.
At Level 22 we ran into a group of these Rudolph-the-red-nosed-assholes and I decided "Shit looks like Easter Island, I ain't playin' with that."
This time, however, Luna was "bursting with enthusiasm for the battle!" How can I deny my little moon princess that?
Let me fucking tell you. These motherfuckers used "Harden: like a Zigzagoon uses potions and even though these little dunder-fuckers kept using that goddamned Endure, Luna kicked ass and chewed bubblegum. Just kidding, we were out of bubblegum.
Finally, about halfway through to our goal, we went back to the Pokecenter. After checking with Nurse Joy, who must think I'm some kind of monster for the amount of times she's healed THIS ONE Pokemon, we came back to knock more asses right outta the tall grass.
I tried to maintain her hunger levels and enjoyment levels to equal levels, and now I flinch when someone says "Berry Picker." (YOU STUPID FUCKING PEAR.)
At about 1:30 am and 75% to out goal of Level 30, we did soem more EV Training. (Before you ask, I totally checked with Nurse Joy, leave me alone.)
Then for more leveling, we saw a fucking Snubull. Luna seemed to agree: FUCK SNUBULL. We kicked his ass and took his berries. Pink-ass Motherfucker...
At about 2am, she got to Level 30 and I didn't want to chance it, so I "put her to bed."
Hoping for an evolution at Level 35! I guess maybe we'll find out tomorrow night!
