Introducing: David Huettner
Hi,
my name is David, I'm an Artist at Mi’pu’mi Games and I support The Lion’s Song team with pixel graphics. I am doing backgrounds, some characters and also merchandising artworks.
I like the restrictions in colors and shapes of pixel graphics, because sometimes, this limitation opens up new creative and artistic possibilities.
The self-taught artist!
I've started drawing when I was a kid, and since then I covered a long distance. Inspired by comic books and anime series, I made my first cartoon and fantasy drawings.
In my early years I started to experiment with a lot of different media. From pencil to inks, oil colors, acrylics and clay. I recognized my talent, but in the early 90ies, it was hard to find a profession that suited me and my needs. So I started to work as electrician and did that for more than 10 years, until a summer day in 1999, when I decided to become a professional artist.
One year later I got my first job in the computer games industry. Since then I've done a lot of different assets for a lot of projects and various media. My work includes concept art, 2D and 3D animations, 3D modeling as well as texturing, and illustrations.
I draw and paint every day! That is my true passion!

We have the first openly gay AHL player! Idk if Luke will be in the lineup for playoffs since he hasn't been for the last little bit, but who knows <3
He is also incredibly competitive with Chrons at Bop It.
Ozzy Wiesblatt is a CODA and also one of the greatest players Svech has ever seen!!!! Very much the team little brother.
On that note, Svech is the best player Ozzy has ever seen. They love each other <3
Our captain is Gravy, what would we do without him. Fall apart probably. He puts up with so much.
Cal O'Reilly is missing more teeth than Ryan, a point of pride for Ryan. Ancient. So old. Still got it though!!
Joakim Kemell was a first round draft pick in 2022. I am waiting for him to finish baking so I can take him out of the oven. Also thinks Gravy is too old to celebrate his birthday. His teammates think he should probably learn how to cook.
Wallsy is. He went to Penn State but in another life he is a beautiful angel at the tailgates of an SEC school
Rolly will quote School of Rock if handed a guitar. Also generally has a based music taste
Marino knows Casey Cott of Riverdale fame. Or at least has him in his contacts. He also ran out of fights this season. He maxxed out his fight card. You can do that.
Cole O'Hara is new!! He just showed up from college!!! The Preds drafted him in 2022!!!

Introducing: Maria Hejlek
Hi,
my name is Maria Hejlek – or Maria Dingsbums, Maria Uuuhm, Maria I-don’t-want-to-butcher-your-name-sorry, if you ask some of our awesome Let’s Players.
I’m listed in the credits for “Game Design & Scripting” – that means that I setup scenes in our engine, fill them with hotspots, add animations made by Natascha, Stefan or Tobe, add sound effects, adjust choreography, fix bugs, and much more. In general, I try to breathe life into every scene of our game, by adding lots of little details. However, I am also very interested in interacting with the community via social media, YouTube videos, discussions on Steam and so on.
I was always fascinated by games. Before I could properly walk I was already overwriting my father’s savegames (accidentally?). It was always clear to me that I wanted to work in the video game industry. I got my Bachelor’s in Computer Science and my Master’s in Game Engineering & Simulation. During my studies, I discovered that even though I was quite good at programming, designing games was much more to my liking. So, wherever I could, I tried to gather experience in that area. Which paid off – right after finishing university, I applied at Mi’pu’mi Games for a job as Designer and started working as Lead Designer on Red Bull Mind Gamers – Mission: Unlock Enoch before switching to the The Lion’s Song team during the development of Episode 2: Anthology.
I researched and wrote down a lot of notes while establishing side characters.
I love designing, scripting, and of course playing video games, but I am also a huge fan of tabletop games, be it of the card, board, or role-playing variety. In fact, I organize the Mi’pu’mi board game evening once every month and am the Dungeon Master of two Dungeons & Dragons groups.
To get a break from all the gaming and sitting I also greatly enjoy gardening. I have a small garden full of vegetables and fruit, which is great, because I also love cooking and barbecuing.
We use a ticketing system to keep track of bugs and to-do’s, but writing down lots of minor issues and getting to cross them off one by one helps me concentrate and motivates me.
But after a long day I like to lean back and watch someone on YouTube play an episode of The Lion’s Song. It fills me with so much joy to work on such an awesome game and be rewarded with players enjoying it themselves. It reminds me why I started working in this industry.
