An Interview with Our First Winner, Stephanie!
How did you find out about Locket?
I found out about Locket through my boyfriend, Forrest, when Locket was giving $1 to people who referred others to the application. Honestly, I didn't think much of Locket in the beginning just because I thought it was one of those rip-off applications. One thing I really appreciated about Locket is that the lock screen ads aren't ugly or generic, but very creative and clean. Because of this, I didn't really care that I didn't have my own personal lock screen like my other friends.
Do you have a favorite ad?
I think my favorite ad so far is the one where my name shows up along with Forrest's because we won the 1st Locket Swipestakes!
What was your first thought when you found out you won?
I thought this must have been some mistake or another spam message because I had never won anything in my life! Forrest and I both freaked out and couldn't help but repeat to ourselves, "Is this real life?!"
What do you plan to do with your $300 dollars?
I’m not exactly sure what I want to do with the money I won just yet. As of now, I haven’t cashed out or anything but am continuing to make money and raising my balance on Locket. Once I raise a certain amount on Locket though, I would really like to donate some of it to my campus ministry, EPIC. EPIC has done so much for me and I really want to give back. We recently managed to get an EPIC House on campus. I hope the money I would donate would be helpful in making the house into our new home. The $300 I won really helped in me wanting to do this. With the rest of the money, I’m still not exactly sure yet…Cyber Monday? Hehe.
I think Locket is doing everything that could make the people who have it really satisfied. You guys are doing an amazing job. Locket is definitely my #1 favorite now and I really did not expect to get this much from one app. Love you guys!
