🍄: What is a quote you find comfort in?
Do poems count? I have a soft spot for a lot of Mary Oliver's work. One of my favorites is "Morning"
"Salt shining behind its glass cylinder.
Milk in a blue bowl. The yellow linoleum.
The cat stretching her black body from the pillow.
The way she makes her curvaceous response to the small, kind gesture. Then laps the bowl clean.
Then wants to go out into the world
where she leaps lightly and for no apparent reason across the lawn, then sits, perfectly still, in the grass.
I watch her a little while, thinking:
what more could I do with wild words?
I stand in the cold kitchen, bowing down to her.

I don't know why this one is my favorite but there is something comforting about it. It reminds me of the content moments with a cup of coffee, before anyone else is awake and when there aren't any plans made yet--definitely some of my favorite moments.
🍅: Have you ever gardened, and if so, what is your favorite thing to grow?
I'll admit I'm not the best gardener (and am definitely a better dog mom, thank god) but I tend to forget to water them. I have started growing a couple succulents and luckily this doesn't bother them as much, and it's been really rewarding--especially having something green to look at all winter. I grew up in a house with a big garden and parents who were pretty avid about it--I always begged for indoor chores though--I was terrified of all the bugs 😅I enjoy looking at them though, especially if there are tulips or irises (some of my favorites).
🐝: What is a video game that you find comforting?
I find Animal Crossing to be really relaxing. The new Pokemon snap is pretty chill too, and it's easy to just spend a couple hours on. I'd like to get into Stardew Valley, but there's a surprising amount of work(?) that goes into it? That might just be my friends getting really intense about it though 😂 I find a lot of the Legend of Zelda games relaxing too--Breath of the Wild is one of my favorites 💕
