This is how I start the year

Alright first impression of this chapter is look at that boy, he must be so good at giving hugs. I always thought Shoji was cool and enjoyed him as a background character but this chapter is really making me appreciate him. He has tenacity and he sticks by his beliefs. It's also cute seeing him interact with the goon squad, I'd love to see even more of the friendships.

I honestly didn't think this would also serve as a big moment for Koda, but I'm not disappointed. He's really gonna step up and follow in shojis foot steps and smack the shit out of this PLF motherfucker, full-on team octopus on this fight.

Yo they do a fantastic job of just making Spinner seem like a Rampaging beast when he activates his quirks, they really nailed the grotesque nature of what's been done to him. Even if he has a wicked cool design I'm excited to see if and how shoji takes him down.

5 years of Splatoon 2, 4 years following the Squid vs Octopus Splatfest, and not even a month of these two having full body designs. As for why I chose to do this, since I imagine them as the Octarian equivalent to Off the Hook, I figured I'd do at least one piece of them themed after a Splatoon 2 Splatfest, and I chose Squid vs Octopus specifically because I wanted people to see the true depths of their friendship (or more than friendship depending on how you view them).
