It’s time for the Vytal Festival Dance! You know what that means; Teenage Drama™! Haddy finds out that he has fans, Qrow and Summer try to hook him up, Robyn and Ryder start a dance-off, and Monroe actually has a good time. That is, until Ozpin surprises them all with a memorial to fallen students; including, Peri.

This one. This one is my actual favorite. No doubts in my mind. The DRAMA makes it worth it, and it’s time for some Healthy Communication™. But, of course, good things don’t always last.

Episode Eight: Gae

There’s something going on with Monroe, and not even Robyn nor Ryder know what it is. Haddy starts to get worried when her schoolwork starts to suffer. However, the blonde pirate doesn’t seem to want to talk about what’s on her mind...

What is Security going to find in Wonderland? Who is Checkers? Why does he seem to know who the students are... and what does he want?

Eight episodes in and we finally have a villain (or two??)! Wonderland has some of my favorite dynamics in this series, especially with how its people react to outsiders. Also, really trying hard NOT to gush too much about Checkers, ‘cause my feral, little alley cat really doesn’t have much to do with this Volume... at least that you know of... ;)
