About the Artist: Hi everyone! I am Crisbel Salazar Sumaya, 18 years of age was born on May 12, 2004 from Bagong Pook Lipa City Batangas. A grade 12 student of STI COLLEGE LIPA. A working student, freelance Model and a young small entrepreneur. I'm a type of person or daughter who like to help my family in financial, and help myself to value the things I have. To be honest I don't like art because I don't have talent in doing arts, but in this artwork it helps me to be creative, be patient and keep our mind that you can do it. Because all of the things we want or we don't like is not easy to get it. We will face many challenges and failures in life after we rich our goals and wants in our life. As a Freelance Model and a working students I experienced depression and anxiety and it's so hard to forget all the bad things and bad news I experienced, but I realized that whatever failures, judgement, and bad things we faced the show must go on. No one can stop us and no one can degrade us, just continue what you want and keep our mind positive at all times. Because once we rich our goals and dreams in life we need to faced many challenges to keep our mind and body positive and to help us to grow and broaden our mind in everything.

Artist Journey: In this Journey, I learned a lot about different kinds and meanings of arts. This art helps me to broaden our mind, be creative and keep our mind positive at all times. Art is not just only an art but art can communicate information, gives meaning to our lives, allows us to have a deeper understanding in our emotions, it also give us to have a new ideas and experiences.
Artist Biography: Schekaina Mikaela Tereze S. Laqquian is a 17 year old student from HUMSS-201 in STI College Lipa, residing at 271 Kapt. Luz St. Lipa City. She’s not that good at arts but she’s willing to learn and enhance her art skills. She likes watching films, reading, play guitar, and sing. She had faced many complications and hardships in life but she didn’t let it take her down instead she smiled through everything and fought every battle life throws at her.
Title: Through the Years
Description of the Artwork: People go through different hardships and complications in life. Others treat their misfortunes as a punishment but for me I treat these misfortunes as an equal to serenities because they brought me to where and who I am today. Just like how a Phoenix is reborn from their ashes in Greek mythology; I myself was reborn from my misfortunes. In life you will face different levels of pain and challenges that will either make you or break you. It’s up to you on how you deal and cope up with its impact. I’m not that good with arts, but here’s what I’ve got. I did a collage wherein the big picture is the current “me”. But if you zoom in, you can see my old & current pics and special people that holds specific memory or place in my heart. There are some pictures where I’ve faced troubles that gave me a hard time but when I surpassed it all, you can see the difference with the way I smile. Each smile is different from the other; some are genuine some are fake some are caused by love some are by pain. Through the years many things have changed. How I see myself and how other people see me. Through the years the hardships I faced made me stronger but at some point it made me feel weaker. But what’s important is that I didn’t give up. I’ve smiled through the pain and I tried to survive; and fortunately, I did.

Artist Journey: My name is Schekaina Mikaela Tereze S. Laquian from HUMSS-201 and my journey in this subject has been an epic ride. In this modern age and society, many things have changed as time passes by especially with arts. I have discovered different characteristics of contemporary arts and the types of techniques & styles of the said art. It is funny how i also discovered that I had been doing a technique when I was young which is where I was tracing a peso coin, by putting the coin under the paper and shading it. I also did not know that I could make my self-portrait because I am not that good with arts and fortunately it is decent, and I liked the outcome. I know that I still have many things to learn, and I will happily enjoy the ride of this journey and discover more things, opportunities, and skills.
Artist Biography: Hi, I am Dharille Jay Veyra, I am 19 years old and I live in Barangay Lumbangan, Rosario Batangas, my parents are Ernesto Veyra and Aurelia Veyra. And I am now studying at STI COLLEGE LIPA as grade 12 student, And I take a strand of HUMSS. And I went through a lot of trials that I passed, I experienced bullying for 6 years, and experienced dropping out of school for 2 years, and this is what I resumed, and I re-entered life as a student. So, I stopped studying I got sick and recovered again in two years. And I went back to studying and pursued what I wanted to achieve someday. And I love playing online games and rides in different places. And the real person is a kind and observant person and loves to get along in all things, even if I am quiet person but when you talk to me, you will know who I really am.

Description of the artwork: We can see here that I am wearing a helmet and it gives me protection and safety with every sacrifice I make on the road in any corner of town and city. wearing this thing called a helmet is of great value to me because it gives protection to my head. With this one thing I can come home alive and remembering acquaintances. We can't avoid an accident on the road, whether it's near or far, I always think that I can come home alive even if it's hard to wear and heavy on the head, sometimes it's hard to breathe in it and it always feels hot when wearing a helmet, for me even though it's hard for me to endure I can just go home alive with my family that's a big deal for me.

Artist Journey: The journey I have experienced on this subject has been creativity in everything. and I have learned so many things in the arts that I see that I do not know what to call there, now I have learned and have studied well. And in the artwork, I made, I based it on what I was going to do, and this is what will give color to my life. I base my experiences as a rider of the Philippines, I as a rider of the Philippines and as a member of the charity rider, is that our only goal is not fun but a life to be added to each journey of each member accumulated. collected per rides is 75% donated to hospitals and 25% is credited to the insurance of each member. And I became positive so I could do something, which I thought I couldn’t.
