Cetitan is a member of Team Surf (and Turf). Team Surf is a rescue team that specializes in taking job requests from land bound pokemon that require the team to go into seas or other large bodies of water. Team Surf accomplishes this by using the move dive to allow the members to breathe underwater. This piece depicts Cetitan while dive is active. I’ll reveal more information about Team Surf and its members, including Cetitan, once I update the drawings I made of each of the members to reflect their redesigns.

Xepher’s swimsuit is inspired by the mandarin fish, which Hina captured so beautifully. I think all my pent-up art energy finally came out after being stuck in quarantine for so long. Spent about 15-20 hours on this. All the details and textures like the woodgrain I did completely by hand because I’m a maniac apparently.  Kelp necklace and a LOT of seashell and bead necklaces. Seashell strands on her leg-and wristwraps, turtle shell stamped bracers and Torga belt, torga he’ethraze board... Aka is totally Team Surf for the Stranglethorn Bonfire Bash 2020 <3 And repping a lot of turtle imagery for homeboi Torga. I tried to keep the base outfit as close to her in-game gear as possible with a lot of extra flair!
