Its seriously upsetting me seeing how many of my moms friends have a problem with Caitlyn Jenner. And finding out how many of MY friends have a problem with her. How can people be so heartless?

Imagine feeling like you're in the wrong body, like your being doesn't match who you are on the outside. You change your look to match who you are all the time. This is the same thing, but instead of getting clothing or jewelry that matches you they have to change their whole bodies. I'm honestly so proud if Caitlyn Jenner. She's been hiding who she was for over 60 years because she was scared people would judge her, just like many are now. She finally has the courage to do it and that's a huge step. There's so many other people who are just like her, male and female. They just want to be happy and comfortable in their skin just like anyone else. You don't have to understand it, but putting a negative mark on their lives is wrong. Nobody's the same so you can't really compare her or any other trans person to yourself.
What I had to explain to my brother and what I'll tell every other person that says they don't see how anyone can change their gender because "they could never do that"

Look how happy she is :) Anyone who says that she isn’t a hero clearly underestimates the number of people who struggle with accepting themselves and being who they really are. The number of suicides in the lgbt+ community solely from the fact that they feel different and alone is tragic. If she inspired just one human being and gave them the courage to live out their life as who they really are, then that’s a hero right there. Thank you for being brave enough to show the world who you really are, Caitlyn. We support you.
I don't really care about your standing on the Kardashians or their franchise but Caitlyn Jenner deserves the upmost respect. Coming out when your whole family is already in the public eye and taking all that comes at you with grace is something I can always look up to. You go girl!
