The simplicity of what we had been doing was stripped away. I know many people call them VinCat, but i started to call them catcent before the whole vincat wave invaded twitter. And I personally prefer that shipname, but that doesn't matter much does it ?

So I just watched the BatB SDCC panel and Jay basically quoted teamcatcent about my fanfiction saying "it's Beauty on the Beast on HBO" which might be a coincidence but... what if not? what if he/they read my fanfiction?

This so much ! Im sad people didnt try to see things from her perspective ! I really liked her and it broke my heart to...

I think most people were just upset that Alex appeared in the show just when Vincat/Catcent was about to get real. But blaming Alex for Vincent's wrong behavior isn't fair....

Agreed! I think the main reason Alex is just hated (like stated) was her interference with the VIncat ship. But these...

yes, I agree that Alex helped for the relationship of Cat+Vincent to grow even deeper though I'm not happy about the fact that our strong, reasonable Cat forgave Vincent that easily... but that's another topic. Disliking Alex because of her being so childish and her incapability to move on is absolutely fair and I wouldn't blame anyone for that. And I think that was a huge reason why Vincent felt guilty about her.

I was never a big fan of Alex but I was more pissed at Vincent because he lied about Cat. I totally agree with you on Alexs side of the story, everyone would have acted the same way if we were in her shoes. I think you bringing her in was a good twist.
