This photo is common couch. It can seed wildly and end up literally anywhere ( almost like a virus). Nothing special applies to this lawn, apart from the odd mow ( once a week in summer) and being on the GROW program. This lawn is beautiful if properly understood ( like anything in life). @it does require a slightly higher cutting when mowing, but can fool people if the right inputs and soil are there. We often convert peoples mixed lawns, or lawns that have common couch invading ( due to bird droppings, seeds in wind, rains causing seeds to move to name a few) but look through our photos, some of the best before and afters are with couch. Yes it costs us more in products, but GROW never skimps on quality. We don’t take pride in sharing these photos, but this week we have been getting DOZENS, yes dozens of calls about devastation like this. It happens every year, normally when people get back from holidays or have been distracted by relaxing with family and friends after new year. Army worm did this within a week. The customer called us, and within another day the lawn went from half lush to this photo. Within 3 days we were there. Now it will bounce back and recover within a few weeks to get back to some of the awesome tiftuf lawns we have been posting!
