exactly? Like I mean like I said in my reply to what you answered in my other ask, I don't 'ship' Destiel but I definitely don't hate on it because some of the arguments are still valid, at least they explain why something makes them feel that way, and I get it. But I just wish people would explain themselves. I would totally read a well structured argument against Samifer with good valid points with a totally open mind, and at the end I would still respect them for trying to elaborate.
Yeah, like if you want to show you've properly looked at something and put thought into and come to the conclusion you don't like it, you have a right to explain that. But when people- usually without even any prompting- just randomly announce their hate for something with no reasons except "idk I just don't like it", then that's just really shitty and super unnecessary.
Seriously, the phrase "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" is honestly right 99% of the time. If you're debating something, fair enough. If you're explaining with proper evidence why you consider something problematic, fair enough. But beside that, there is no reason to make a negative comment on anything at all.
