#7085 Rorschach Haterade (Canada) I don’t think I’ve ever had a blue beer, but now I have and I think I’m a better man for it. Coming in at 6.5%, the tagline on this brew is “Blue Power Drink Sour”, and that kinda sums it up. It’s a kettle sour with wheat, oats, lactose and it’s conditioned on blue Gatorade powder, it pours a literal bright blue with a light blue head and a sports drink nose, the body is crisp and smooth, it’s sweet and sticky, super crushable and refreshing, I can’t even really determine any flavours aside from the typical citrusy kettle sour notes, wrapping in a dry, tart, sherbety finish. #6700 Town x Third Moon Cookies On Sunday (Canada) Happy 4th anniversary to the homies at Town! To celebrate, they dropped a bunch of collabs with dope breweries like themselves, and the first is a joint with the legends at Third Moon. This bad boy is something I’ve been keen af on - a pastry lager with pure chocolate, cocoa nibs, toasted coconut and freshly roasted coffee. Coming in at 5%, it pours opaque with a frothy head and a bready, chocolatey nose, the body is dry and crisp, the chocolate and cocoa shine through up front while the coffee bitterness hits in the back end alongside some subtle coconut vibes, the malty cereal notes dominate but the adjuncts are given plenty of breathing room to let you know that this isn’t your typical crispy, all wrapping in a dusty, espresso finish.
