Another one whom Claire would have to be careful around. Sho Hiroki. Something of a big brother figure to Luke. Someone who would know if he was acting strange.

Claire swallowed before taking a breath. “Hello, Sho! I haven’t seen you for a bit--um, how is the gang doing?”

Little did she know it would be her biggest mistake.

Luke wanted to visit London again as soon as he could. Fortunately, a few months into his new school life, there was a long break--long enough for the Tritons to catch a boat and visit their old home. He wrote a letter to the professor saying he would be arriving that day.

And, of course, he let his fellow Gang™ members know, too.

The salty sea hair brushed Luke’s hair back as he ran to reach the railing on the deck. Land was close! Tall buildings began to reach up into the sky--was one of them Big Ben?--and tiny dots milled about the docks.

Luke’s face broke out into a grin once he saw a small orange dot standing close to the water.

Sho!

“Heeeeey!” Luke stood up on his toes and waved, wanting to make sure that Sho saw him. Were there a few others behind him, too?

Luke puffed his cheeks in annoyance, and he tugged harshly at Sho’s shirt.

“You need to go to bed, Sho! The Gang™ needs its leader well-rested! A-and the Gang™ has Eric to lead them, too! So don’t worry about it!”
