I know a miserable individual who seems to enjoy sucking the life out of the party… I’ve tried empathy, sympath, pity, tolerance, kindness and just flat out ignoring the fuck out of their life force. I have decided their presence in my life is to remind me that no matter what I go through, I have joy. I STILL find pleasure in the little things. I have people with whom I share mutual love and respect. People I would give my arm for. Patients I would sell shoes for and who heal and encourage me without them having a clue they do so. People who recognize and tolerate my quirks, modds, and temper. I’m blessed. The tiny black baby Jesus loves me.
