WARNING: LONG-ASS POST, BUT BEAR WITH IT Hello, there! I’ve been MIA for the last days from most of my social media platforms. Yet, this week, I was assigned by my therapist to start writing or do something while I’m unemployed, so here goes. It’s because over a month since I’ve finished my Master’s Degree on Multimedia Journalism at Universidad del Turabo, which is a great and endearing achievement that I get to share with many loved ones. Now, I’ve been so focused on job hunting and trying to land a dignifying gig that can lead me to independence. However, things have been quite grim. Although my mental health is much better, I’ve been feeling stuck, especially at a place that seems to be going down, rather than up. My lovely Puerto Rico has been going through so much shit, from closing doors to progress to the exposure of lousy, lousy management, which is leading to new lows on human quality. So, for that matter, I haven’t felt a fire to do something on my account. I must recognize that there are many like, unemployed, yet in worst conditions, due to hurricane María and the crises that were before this typhon shook us to the ground.
