Got to test out the wax seal I designed for #teamtaco this year! This exclusive gift was created by @makersmark (shout out to @bourbonismyboyfriend for this incredible idea and execution) for the lovely prep team behind @sacocktailconf that volunteers at least a week of their valuable time to execute one of the biggest cocktail events in the country. I am proud to have been in this team for three years, and to have supported it with #BeamSuntory for another three. The work I have gotten to do with @flashdancenance @zxenos and @bourbonismyboyfriend has literally shaped my design career and the way I pursue my multidirectional passions, and inspires me to give back to what has brought me up, embrace wholly the pleasures of life (none should ever be guilty), and recognize the variety and adaptability that makes a great team. Today was genuinely one that I anticipated with great excitement, knowing that I would get to see this design come to fruition, and to see it utilized not only in the seal, but also as the label for the letters to next year’s tacos brought such warmth to my heart. IN MY HAND IS THE SECOND CHALLENGE COIN I HAVE EVER DESIGNED. IT IS FOR AN ORGANIZATION THAT HAS LITERALLY CHANGED MY LIFE AND I COULDN’T BE MORE PROUD. . Today concludes my #SACC2018 artist residency. (I will be slowly sharing some of the sketches from the week in the future, or join me in @Patreon to see the full unedited set as I release it!)How fortunate I feel to be starting this year off with some of my favorite people and places in the whole world. It has been a privilege and pleasure to work alongside my #teamtaco and #BeamSuntory friends and family.
