Ever have one of those days when you’re sooo #sleepy but your pretty eyes just won’t shut? I’m having one today, but before I attempted a nap, I met up with past #WishRecipient, Tyrine, husband and 2 of their 5 kids for lunch, so that we could catch up, I could obtain their #Christmas lists and introduce them to one of our young #SSPWU volunteers that will be working with them this school year. ::::: Many of you have asked me how were the children holding up after Tyrine’s death last year. Her husband said it has been a very difficult transition but they are tackling it, one day at a time. I have the pleasure of seeing the kids a couple times a year and they always seem happy to see me, but today they came bearing gifts. Flowers for the pretty lady! ☺️ The guys also gave flowers to all the other young women who joined us for lunch as well. I’ve never told them how much I love fresh flowers so their kind gesture was a welcomed surprise. 🌺 ::::: I spend SO much time taking care of others, without expectation of anything in return, so it makes me feel warm and fuzzy when someone actually does something for me. Thanks Tyrine, because I know these are really from you! 😉 xoxo ~ Ms Shay ::::::::::::::::::: #sspw #family #community #shaysharpespinkwishes #TeamTyrine #SSPWXmas #cancer #breastcancer #iammysisterskeeper #philanthropy #fundraiser #itsthelittlethings #donate #501c3 #StageIV #canceraffectsusall #SSPWXmasWishes (at Shay Sharpe's Pink Wishes)
