I was in the water the other day and picked up a granola bar wrapper floating at the top. I shoved it in my wetsuit like I usually do...even with the weird looking critters stuck to it. Usually, this is when I get annoyed that people can't manage to pick up their own garbage or make sure their balloons don't fly away, but this was the first time that I only felt bad for the ocean. I shoved the wrapper deep into my sleeve and gave it a silent apology and promised to take better care of it. The ocean is a living breathing being. Don't leave the beach without picking up at least one piece of garbage someone left behind. I swear, the ocean will repay you with beauty like this. #deepthoughts #teamused fur @mauimarcc
