You need that SASS to show that you know what you're doing on stage. Along with SASS comes CONFIDENCE. Of course you wanna step on stage with the mentally of YOU GOT THIS 💩 and with that mentality comes SMOOTH TRANSITIONS. When you're CONFIDENT in what you're doing EVERYTHING WILL COME NATURAL. Another major point is knowing your angles. An angle that may benefit one competitor may not always mean it will benefit you. So play around with poses, transitions and greet offs. I get asked a lot about how I pose and how much I practice for shows when it comes to prep. So to answer your questions I posed EVERYDAY UP UNTIL SHOW DAY for at least an hour. Not only did I practice but I STUDIED the art of posing. Yes I said STUDIED. I watched countless posing videos on YouTube and Instagram. I became inspired from other competitors and tried out countless different poses and transitions to see what fit best for me.
