Hi! I hope you had a lovely holiday! I had a happy story I want to share. My friend (I've known her forever and she is literally one of the nicest people in the world) She made a bunch of us mugs for Galentines Day with how we take our favourite hot drinks painted on them. Mine was in the colours of the Ace flag. On purpose. Because she is amazingly supportive. I've never actually drunk tea out of it. It sits on my shelf and makes me smile.
Your friend sounds great. I own like ten million mugs. mugs are great.
I did have a nice holiday thank you.
teapotprincess replied to your post “My coworkers found out about the new Thor thing and we’ve been arguing...”
I had a similar conversation with the people I work with. The consensus was that it was brilliant but the armour on the concept art was a bit too...defined, and its still a drop in the ocean but an important drop. That was after the initial 'DOES THAT MEAN NO MORE HEMSWORTH??' freakout. I mainly work with women...
That's a little funny because I mainly work with men and that's what my one coworker was complaining about that now they'd reboot the movie and it wouldn't make any sense and I said well maybe they could just have her come into the movies if they did that because this is with the comics, the movies may not draw on it since they've set themselves in their own universe but then I got "Oh but that would be stupid because it'd be like 'hey Thor' 'hey other Thor'" and I just... like really. That's your problem, characters with the same name, the horror.
teapotprincess answered your post: “anyone have a favorite porthos/d’artagnan moment?”:
Can I say all of them? Like when Marsac is being a prat and Porthos stands up for him? Or anytime they do the smile-y thing...
i like all of them too, only scenes with just the two of them are really rare lol. anyway, i'll look into that scene :D
unaffected answered your post: “anyone have a favorite porthos/d’artagnan moment?”:
My fave moment has Aramis in it as well so not sure if it counts but the teaching Porthos about women moment was hilarious.
ooooohhhhhhhh yes. i know it. okay.

I want to see it in program notes one day haha
teapotprincess replied to your post:I always imagine meeting Tumblr friends offline...
I’ve never met up with a tumblr person. Except the people I knew already. I would love to meet up with you! I think it could be dead cool though. I mean just voices. When we read each others posts suddenly they would have a voice!
I'd like to meet you too! Exactly, it plays with all of these ideas about perception. Kind of like reading a character in a certain voice and then seeing the film.
teapotprincess said: You are beautiful. I am seriously jealous of your eyeliner and lipstick application skills :D
Thank you!!! It took a lot of messing around and realising that pencil eyeliner wasn't going to do the job at all, and finally getting around to buying a lip brush. I love your blog!!

This looks brilliant!
It is! It's one of my favourite Sherlock Holmes pastiches, and it's really funny!
