Hi I was just wanting to share an experience from yesterday that made me really happy.

I was in my interpersonal communications class and the professor got on the topic of different types of relationships. One boy (lets call him jed) brought up the fact that 'romantic' relationships are not always seen as sexual anymore. Our professor told Jed to elaborate. Jed went into the whole asexual, aromantic, and allosexual stuff! The professor was super interested !!! (He's like in his late 60's)

So the rest of the class all we did was talk about ace spectrum. When we got onto this topic i was for sure a lot of people would talk out against it, but almost everyone (there was only 2 or 3 people who never spoke) was so supportive and agreed with the asexual, aromantic, and allosexual stuff.

It just made me feel really validated and loved. Online I always see negative stuff about this community. So seeing positive thoughts in the real world made all the difference!

A Prom Story

Hello people of Tumblr. I know that people like to hear happy stories and I have one to share.

Our schools prom was on Saturday the 24, and I had to decide on what to wear. Being a trans youth the choice was difficult. Wear a dress and be sad. Or wear a suit and be happy. After gathering courage I finally talked my mom into buying me a suit and a hair cut. But then the second issue came up of me possibly getting kicked out. I live in the south, this was a good possibility. But once we actually got to the dance I only received one bad comment for the entire dance. And it was from a teacher who was put in an awkward situation of patting me down for security. But I was shocked when an old friend, who is planning on being in the military, looked me over for a moment, then shook my hand, said 'my man' and asked my new name. I had to take a minute just not to cry. I wanted to share this because I know there is so much going wrong in the world and this helped me realize that the world isn't that bad. And maybe this will give courage to others and make some people happy. It was one of the happiest nights of my life.

I'm an asexual who gets crushes and gets flustered with people I find attractive. It's nice to see a page were it doesn't bash an ace person who does enjoy being intimate to a certain degree. Cuddles and kisses are the best man 😥😥😥

So I am an asexual model running for the miss jetset model competition and so far I have done pretty well. I am already qualified to go to their party in Vegas when the competition is over but the further I can get the better. I am trying to use this platform to bring awareness about asexuality to mainstream media and erase the stigmas that we are all ugly or prudes or just undesirable lonely people. Every vote counts. Hi guys! 

I'm currently in the process of creating a webseries that follows the lives of two young WOC, one who identifies as a sex-neutral asexual, and the other a sex-positive pansexual. It's largely based off my own life and personal stories, but the thing is I want more stories from other people in the community that i can incorporate into the character or surrounding characters. 

Literally tell me anything you would like to share OR tell me some things you would like to finally see represented in the forefront of a show for once? What kind of character dynamics would you like to see, etc, etc.
