Logan tilted the young man’s head up with the flat of his sword, locking eyes with the prince. This was his moment—one he couldn’t let slip by. “I only have one demand.”
The prince narrowed his eyes, the dark circles beneath them highlighted by the flickering orange light of the lantern. “What demand could a pirate have of a prince?”
Logan twisted the blade to the side, leaning in until their lips were nearly touching. He felt the prince’s uneven breath against his skin, the tension thick in the air. “Marry me.”
