XD Thank you so much for the compliment, but - no. The stash is not as organised as I would like it to be. I do a “Flash your Stash” once a year, around New Year’s, and I could post pictures here? Right now, the stash consists of
a big box in the “home office” (full skeins of yarns)
a middle-sized box in the “home office” (for fiber)
a small box in the “home office” (for leftovers)
two plastic bags (with stash my gran gave to me when they moved two years ago)
a plastic bag with five balls of yarn and a sweater pattern in the “home office” (it won’t fit anywhere else)
two slim boxes with sweater quantities of yarn in the “home office” (I have made one sweater so far, and have to rework it, because I made it too short)
a canvas bag of Merino in the living room
a big basket (overflowing) in the livingroom, holding WIPs (and the five bags for sock yarn)
a footstool in which you can hide store stuff in the livingroom (full to the brim with yarn and fiber)
It’s a lot, really, and I have thought a lot about how - and why - the stash has grown so much during this year, and since I want to enjoy the yarn and fiber I have, and I will have to make some fundamental changes in my knitting habits, as it seems.
This was everything I owned at the beginning of this year (except the fiber box):
and here it is all spread out
So I’d rather talk about organised chaos in my case. ;) (and yes, I had to stand on a stepladder to take the second picture.)
