Welcome to Emptea But Mindful, a quiet space where we take a moment to slow-down by exploring principles of mindfulness in hopes of applying these lessons to our fast-paced daily lives. Today, we will be talking about Emptying Your Cup. Mindfulness has always helped me, when I remember to put it into practice. I am so guilty of falling behind on good habits so I created this podcast to hold myself accountable to keep up with the practices of mindfulness, and encourage me to research new ideas and keep working on myself. When I am meditating daily, I am a happier, more balanced, and peaceful individual. When I take the time to prepare and drink my tea, I am more present in the now. When I am reflecting on life, I feel more in control of acting from a place that will only serve me for my greatest good. One cannot learn anything if they feel they already know everything. We cannot learn unless we also unlearn. We cannot fill our cup, unless we empty it first. Tune into the last Tuesday of the month for another quiet moment. Posting up #TeaTuesdays picture a little early. . This question is for all my fellow tea drinkers. Do you prefer prebagged teas or loose leaf? What are your favorites? . I really enjoy loose leaf. One of my all time favorite brands is @dryadtea. I found them at gen con several years ago and have been thoroughly addicted since. . I have never found a company whose teas consistently taste the way they smell (which is divine BTW) and I have tried a lot of them. Some of my favorites are the Courts (esp. Summer), Hatter, Ravens In The Library and Xavier Quinn. (I could seriously main line that last one.) . Plus Rubiee is always a treat to chat with at cons. . *not sponsored or anything.
