“… Isn’t this fun!” It wasn’t. It really, really wasn’t. Ceri was bounding and splashing in the mud, having a grand old time, and he had to resist the urge to flinch every time it splashed to close. She didn’t fully understand what was going to happen, assuming that their trip to the dragon clan would be temporary, that they would be heading back to their cave soon enough. He had told her multiple times that they weren’t going back, but she had only laughed and said that they shouldn’t be away for to long, or a bear may move in. He was still trying to get through to her that they weren’t going back. He could feel the hunger cling to his bones, and had to stop for a moment as a hunger pang shot through him. “Dad?” He blinked a few times, noticing that Ceri had stopped in front of him, a worried expression on her face. “I’m fine. Let’s just hurry up.” He picked up the pace, but made sure that Ceri would still be able to keep up. She didn’t play anymore, and he bent down to nudge his head against hers. She nudged back, and had a bit more pep in her step the rest of the journey. This was all for her. Even so, Tebris hated mud, and swamps.
So Ceri’s had a redesign, as she’s no longer an adalisk but still a powerful breed of dragon. Tebris/Ceri/Art @pandorarama
