feel free to send me mood board req (whether based on songs, characters, books, aesthetics, etc) and I'll do my best to fill them (with my own pics only)
dark academia and co are nice and all but can we please introduce tech academia or something? could really need some help romanticising my laptop not managing to run xampp and notepad++ at the same time right about now
niche academia aesthetics
celestial academia - gold-rimmed glasses, dark blue jumpers, astrology, late nights, black velvet
tech academia - old keyboards, fifty open tabs, forums, dirty tea cups, battered desk chair
punk academia - well-worn boots, stolen pens, margin doodles, hoodies under jackets
spring academia - sundresses, picnics, well-organised bookshelf, flowers
cyberpunk academia - busy cities, sneak shakers, caffeine dependency, stickers on everything, led peripherals

Man, I wish I'd taken a different route with school. I've only got a handful of courses left in this degree, so I'm not about to switch programs now but... with my years of technical experience, a more business-oriented (ie: IT management) bachelor's probably would've been more beneficial to me, and THEN maybe going back to the technical track and doing a cybersecurity master's degree.
I suppose I can just flip it and do an IT management MS or MBA after finishing this cybersecurity undergrad, but I don't even know if I want to do that.
(I... might still ask my advisor what it could look like if I were to switch. I'm literally shaking my head at myself as I even consider the possibility. I feel like I'd end up happier and that it'd be better for my career, but that might just be the grass looking greener from the other side.)
