U.S. government: "Huawei is bad, don't buy their phones! They use them to spy on people for the Chinese government! Please disregard the fact that the U.S. uses American telecommunications companies to spy on people in the exact same way. It's not like we're China or anything like that. Oh, and Huawei also uses technology that the Chinese government stole from other countries and foreign businesses! Never mind the fact that the U.S. does that too. It's okay when we do it!"
