I love being a child who VERY VAUGELY knows her way around a computer bc I have just gotten an emulator to work on a school computer without a hitch. like. Soul silver is JUST the surface the amount of games I could load in there???
Look I just want Tech smarty pants to completely own somebody in the Bad Batch series.
Like a complete stranger.
Over literally something so insignificant; even better.
I want the chaos. >:)
Cue stressed Hunter, vehement Tech, and goading brothers.
Like, there’s an insidious Empire looming over their heads and the need to be covert is dire but Tech hears (1) piece of misinformation on the streets in passing and feels the need to get into some long-winded debate right then and there. To hell with disguises, low profiles, and all that. If you are incorrect, for the good of the Galaxy you have to be corrected—by none other than the information extraordinaire himself.
Tech: *sent into town for supplies, ends up riling up the entire square*
Picture Hunter, pushing his way past the hackled crowd, damn near having a heart attack (as usual) as he follows the sound of a certain idiot genius with a maddening need to broadcast his intellectual superiority whenever, wherever.
Hunter finding Tech at the glaring center of an amassed crowd, standing up on some makeshift podium as he vehemently objects to what is, in Hunter’s opinion, an utterly insignificant philosophy in that moment—does it karking matter that Toydarian jams were literal symbolizations of preservation and riches, exclusive only to the royal members and therefore not to be sold in this second-rate market? Oh, right. To Tech it does. Meanwhile Hunter is trying not to keel over from embarrassment (and worry). Yes, that is his kid. Causing a scene. Right there.
Tech legit be out there like: “I’d rather be devisive than indecisive.”
If you’re wondering where the rest of the boys are—well, they’re looking on in amusement. Bets are up as to how much longer before Tech gets his ass handed to him as he serves up “knowledge”. Of course the bros would in fact intervene before some bristled individual could even wind their fist back. It’s fine. It’s all under control...
i was this close to throwing out my mouse out the window (obviously not, but that's how tech feels sometimes to me) and then i had the eureka moment to change the battery out. Fresh AA battery in and lo and behold, it is working like absolute magic. No lag, no nothing.
So my computer decided that there was no such thing as Windows and died on me. After many "turn off and turn on" actions, it just started to update.
Microsoft if you want to update the computer just do it! Don't pretend the thing died!
Anyways, I got scared and decided to backup my files. My external drive decided to die.
My external drive with all my art books, magazines and flash games, and movies and TV shows. Whyyyyyyy??
So father is trying to recover some of the files while I do some cleaning and panicking.
Why does my stuff always dies when I need the things the most? The computer is only a year old and the amount of scares it has given me is almost 5!

Change phone carriers. Can’t use new carrier ‘cause my iOS isn’t up to date. (I have what’s now an older phone. It’s showing its age but I’d prefer it didn’t, you know, brick.) So I back up my phone (why not, the only deal we’re gonna get is if I trade it in) and try and see if there’s a way to get an older iOS vs the most recent one (again, older phone and trying to avoid bricking if I can help it).
Aaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnddd...now my computer’s whining about disc space so it won’t finish backing it up (this being after I had to start over because I unplugged my phone on muscle memory like a dumbass). Which. Trying to figure out how to get it to show me my storage so I can clear crap out.
All to. You know. Try and back up my phone so I can update the iOS so I can use that new carrier!
