I am so sick of apps. I’m sick of having so many different companies trying to get their greedy little paws into my life and my brain and asking for information they don’t actually need to function. You have my credit card info. You have my email. Fuck off, you don’t need anything else.

SYNC A IMPORTED SPOTIFY PLAYLIST

Ok friends, here how I got Louis on my phone. Mind you, you can’t do anything but play it on your phone (like it doesn’t work on my Sonos, but it is what it is).

Go to Spotify on your COMPUTER.

Go to PREFERENCES

Scroll down until you see LOCAL FILES, make sure it is GREEN.

Then go to ADD SOURCE. (This is mine, I added a number of things because I didn’t need them doing my whole library.)

Then create a playlist as you normally would, here’s mine:

Make sure you toggle DOWNLOADED so it is also GREEN.

THEN, on your phone, find the same playlist. You need to be on the same WiFi for it to work (says the thing I read on the internet). ALSO, toggle it to DOWNLOAD. It will not show up right away (or it didn’t for me), give it a little while and come back and check on it.

I do not have super-advanced troubleshooting here, so no I cannot solve all the problems, but this did work for me. I did it on iTunes as well through my iCloud music library but I DO NOT have Apple Music. So if someone has the how on that one, please let me know.

Got the new HDD and reinstalling the OS as we speak! Hopefully the backup drive has enough of my shit to work off of.
