My wife came into the bedroom to have me use her phone to order pizza, and she seemed super frustrated, and I thought she was mad at me for some unknown reason, so I asked her if she’s okay, and she shrugged and said, “I’m fine”. And kinda sighed, so I thought extra that I did something wrong, so I’m like, “are you sure? Did I do something wrong?” And she’s like, “everything is fine.” And just continues to not talk about it. So like I order my food and hand her phone back to her, and she’s got her back to me, sitting on the bed, and just looks super pissed, and I’m so stressed because I feel like we’re entering a conversation i haven’t emotionally prepared for, and I say, “are you mad at me? What did I do?” And she’s just so quiet, and she stands up and walks to the door to leave, and looks at her phone, and then turns to me and says, “it just REALLY frustrates me that a company would pay SO much money for another company to make their app, and then they don’t even use modern standards. Like their styling is at least ten years old, and I could get over that. But like, okay so like they have a 32 character limit in their order instructions, but they don’t TELL you that there’s a 32 character limit until you SUBMIT the order. Like…. Do you… DO YOU KNOW HOW EASY IT IS TO CODE THAT INTO THEIR APP??!!” And at this point I’m just cackling because like she’s just FUMING at this app we use so frequently to order pizza, and I’m over here thinking she’s mad because it’s almost 1:30 and I’m still lying in bed. Software engineers....
