STARTER PROMPTS : Assorted Sentence Prompts

it’s  astonishing  how  quickly  sparkling  emeralds  immediately  soften  as  soon  as  tim  takes  off  his  mask ,  both  hands  reaching  out  to  cup  soft  palms  against  the  vigilante’s  cheeks .  ‘  timmy  . . .  ’  lips  can’t  help  but  POUT ,  holding  the  other’s  face  as  if  it  were  some  precious  jewel .  the  dark  circles  below  the  other’s  eyes  are  more  prominent  than  he  has  ever  noticed  before .  ‘  i  can  TELL .  ’  the  pads  of  his  thumbs  gently  drag  across  the  robin’s  cheeks ,  encouraging  him  closer  until  foreheads  come  to   rest  together . 

he  has  spent  many  a  sleepless  night  with  tim ,  legs  dangling  over  the  edge  of  a  skyscraper’s  edge ,  acting  as  if  they  were  old  friends  having  a  mere  catch  up ,  like  sitting  on  a  park  bench  and  putting  the  world  to  rights .  or  at  least  the  equivalent . 

but  the  VERTIGO  had  never  bothered  him ,  far  too  caught  up  in  his  puppy  love  to  care  about  much  else ,  least  of  all  FALLING .

he  knows  that  tim  would  catch  him .

from  pressed  foreheads ,  scamp  wraps  his  arms  delicately  around  tim ,  pulling  him  close  until  the  hero  is  wrapped  up  in  the  “ villain’s ”  arms .  scamp  knows  he  isn’t  a  villain ,  but  that’s  how  people  see  them .  both  treading  the  line  between  law  and  order ,  and  chaos ,  respectively ,  but  neither  ever  DREAMING  of  pulling  the  other  into  their  world .  but ,  tim  brings  out  the  best  in  scamp .  they  make  him  want  to  be  BETTER .

so  he  just  holds  tim  against  his  chest ,  sliding  down  on  the  couch  to  embrace  the  comfort  of  the  familiar  cushions ,  cradling  the  vigilante  in  his  arms  and  burying  his  face  in  the  darkened  abyss  of  the  other’s  hair . 

‘  of  course .  ’  he  whispers ,  the  question  bringing  an  unexpected  smile  to  the  thief’s  lips ,  dimples  settling  deep  into  freckled  cheeks . 

‘  i’ll  stay  with  you  as  long  as  you  want  me  to .  ’

‘  i  think  i’m  in  trouble .  ’  well ,  he  KNOWS  he  is  in  trouble ,  a  lot  of  it .  ‘  i  know  this  is  a  lot  to  ask ,  and  you  can  say  no ,  but  uh  -  is  there  any  chance  i  could  UH  . . .  stay  with  you  ?  ’  he  can’t  quite  meet  tim’s  gaze ,  half  ashamed  of  needing  to  ask  for  help ,  and  half  embarrassed  that  he  even  got  caught  in  the  first  place .  ‘  all  i  need  is  a  few  days ,  you  won’t  even  know  i’m  here .  ’

it's a sunny day. they're at an empty skate park, too early in the morning for anyone else to bother them (she'd learned that stoners usually gravitated towards night time excursions... not that all skaters were stoners, of course, but no one would deny a strong correlation). she's sat peacefully on one of the slopes. her board, barely christened, rests by her elbow-- she watches tim carefully. studies him and his movements, all lithe grace as he twists around the bowl.

until he eats absolute dirt. cassie's up in an instant, rushing towards tim [ @techdek ] who landed harsh enough to have a break of blood dribbling from somewhere. cassie skirts to a stop in front of him, hand held out to pull him from the ground. " i'm glad i didn't faceplant, at least, " he says, and cassie would've laughed, if she wasn't so worried.

" dude, " she coughs, grabbing his face with both of her hands. she tilts his face this way and that way, checking for any other wounds. " who's the current president? how many fingers am i holding up? "

three cards are spread across the table. she likes this part the most: before the revelation, even the coldest of unfaithfuls must feel some sort of tension (she has watched them all lean closer, cold gazes reshaped into the victory - sharpened pinch of children's eyes). it's all in the wrist movement. she'd make a great circus act one day. " a time capsule sounds fun. a bank heist sounds fun, too, but i feel like batman or one of his cronies would definitely cause complications. and i'm not ready to get my ass kicked. " she wants to outlast time: immortality has become so rare. " okay, what are we stuffing in this time capsule? obviously, we need a piece of one of your skateboards. i'll put in a pack of tarots. " @techdek

Hair matted with red chunks. Disgusted he grabs some jello from white streak in his hand and flicks it onto the floor.  ❝ This is so not over. ❞
