i do not engage with blogs that sexualise or otherwise glorify shitty things. i don’t really need a list of these things, but i’m sure you get the picture.
i’m selective and only care about following blogs that i think i can interact with.

expanded biography, the ugly truth of cassandra rike :
cassie prefers moving in the summer, rather than in the middle of the school year, but she knows better than to argue with her mother. she's told they'll move, so they move. cassie packs up two boxes worth of stuff, shoves it alongside the tent in the back of her van, and follows their caravan. it's twelve hours of driving before they show up at their new destination: eatington, ohio. on the lawn of some crumbling house, they set up their new lives. athena calls her the first night, staying up until the sun rises to ease cassie into the new surroundings.
the next morning, cassie's mother rises with the sun to sage the new house. it's so old that they wouldn't be able to live in there until the roof was fixed, so they keep their furniture tucked neatly away in some storage unit. their mother comes in the afternoon to gather them all: don't go into the house, she says. her tone is final. no one bothers to raise any disagreements, even if they all know now that the next few months will be spent with aching backs and creaking necks from sleeping in tents.
in their new town, clotho is quick to make friends-- for once. kai and chris, two twins with swoopy hair and soft smiles. cassie likes them, instantly: she treats them like younger brothers. she's always wanted a brother. clotho is embarrassedat her fawning, but she likes making cassie happy. often the quietest of them all, clotho struggles with having people close to her... so cassie makes sure to encourage this behaviour at every turn. meanwhile, cassie is finishing off a few classes, though she's otherwise graduated from high school. moving around has made any sort of consistency hard, but she's technically out of school. she works odd jobs around the town and tries to make friends with the local librarian. soon, she knows she'll have to start considering what her future holds.
athena had moved away from home, but cleo had stayed. where would cassie fall?
maybe if she was worried less about herself, she would have noticed something was up. she would have noticed the disappearance of certain texts, the stealing of certain valuables, the way trinkets were never in the place they were left in. but her own future squirmed in front of her. three weeks into the visit, clotho and her boys sneak into the house. cassie is sound asleep until she hears the scream, piercing and violent. her body acts on instinct: she throws herself out of the tent, staring down the house that they weren't allowed in.
it was clotho's scream. she'd know her sister's voice anywhere.
cassie rarely disobeys her mother, but she has no choice now. she opens the door. two boys run past her, with blood on their cheeks and smiles on their faces. cassie wants to stop them, but she has to find her sister. the house is dark and damp. there's no life there. in the basement, cassie finds clotho's corpse.
you can bring her back, the house whispers. she presses her hands to clotho's body, checking for a pulse. there is none. there is none.
how? cassie knows better than to make deals with the devil. but if the option is between stupidity or loneliness, cassie will always pick the former.
let me in, it demands.
cassie does. she doesn't even think about it. her yes comes easily: the deal is done. and with the beast inside of her, she begins to tear into clotho's flesh. she eats her down to the ribs, blood dripping over her palms, her wrists. world - eater takes its first taste of life and it loves it.
when her family awakens the next morning, cassie is gone with the van and her belongings. the body is taken away-- and none of the rikes ever comment on it. what happened there... it is best left in silence. her mother suspects the two boys, which the crime inevitably gets blamed on. soon after leaving, cassie begins to stay in dingy hotels or in the back of her van, taking up odd jobs whenever she goes.
at night, her body no longer feels like it belongs to her. she wakes up sometimes with blood on the kitchen counter. or beneath her fingernails. a coincidence, she tells herself, and ignores her mother's phone calls.
