I am exceptionally happy to see Hadestown go so far and be nominated for what it deserves! Hadestown is my all time favorite #1 musical for the last couple years and its getting what it deserves.
I also dont think we should shit on Be More Chill. I absolutely love Be More Chill as well its in my top 5. I dont think everyone shitting on it is called for. I think we should be happy for it getting as big as it has.
On another note in also super hyped that Beetlejuice has 8 nominations. I love Beetlejuice so much its one of my favorite movies and seeing it go so far as a music makes me extatic.
Lets be polite, please dont shit on musicals/shows people love, dont shit on the people who love them. Be happy for the shows/musicals that are nominated even if they aren’t your favorite. This is a community and we should be supportive of everything that comes around.
I need like 1 pair of spacers to finish building my pc and I’ve misplaced them and this is the worst torture imaginable
switching to firefox is better for you in literally every way but it does mean that if you use the internet in a public space you will get "do you actually use firefox over chrome??" questions. for the first couple months you'll try to explain why it's a better choice but eventually you just start responding with things like "yeah its because im insane"
My feelings
I grew up watching the Beetlejuice movie, it is to this day my favorite Tim Burton movie. So seeing it be turned into an amazing musical makes my heart so happy. Watching the performance on the Tonys I was sobbing the whole time by how good it was and how happy it made me.
Hadestown has been my favorite musical for a solid 3 years. I have listened to the soundtrack more times than I can count. Seeing it get the awards it deserves makes me so happy. Once they started the performance and I finally got to see it (even if it was just that small snipit) I was in tears sobbing and singing along.
I didnt know Prom existed until tonight and Im glad it does. I wish for something like that back when I was in highschool still in the closet about being Bisexual and still so afraid and unsure with myself. Seeing that beautiful lesbian kiss made my heart flutter.
The Tonys were perfect tonight and I’m so happy with the outcome.
Honey there’s a bathroom in the prop room above the auditorium. So I opened it, for some reason it had a lock around it but it wasn’t locked. I open that shit and THERES A FUCKING BABY DOLL ARM AND THE ROOM SMELLS LIKE BLOOD AND RUST.
I was working on my pc and I somehow managed to spill thermal paste all over the damn motherboard like a fucking idiot, and the bracket on the aio SNAPPED OFF and went flying across the room because i set it wrong, and at one point there was a CRUNCHING NOISE i was sure meant i had cracked and ruined my cpu and i was ready for the whole thing to just explode in my face and kill me to end my suffering bc omg this is a $2000 investment and i murdered it with incompetence
but SOMEHOW the thing still works by the blessings of the gods so that’s nice i can still play dog sled saga until i go blind
