My Journey with Active Directory
It is a new year, and I am still at understanding Active Directory. It has been over a month now since I started to learn Active Directory. My method of understanding has been for years to learn by practicing and then understand the concepts. Now I have been informed to learn the opposite in which to learn the concepts of Active Directory and practice until you cannot practice no more. One of the things I have decided to do is just learn the concepts first and then continue to practice. I have looked on the Internet to find ways to teach myself basic concepts about Active Directory and I have found several books to start my journey. Here is a list that I plan to work with:
Active Directory Bible which is found at www.uv.es/martineu/ad.blibliaAd.pdf. It appears that it has 18 chapters to it and provides a good structure
The second book I have been practicing from is Configuring Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Exam 70-640 which offers lots of practice on understanding Active Directory
Creating flash cards from scratch or on MS Word(not quite sure, but I need to start like now on it)
Take a few more courses on TechNet Virtual Labs
Continue to work on my portfolio through Github to showcase my skills in Python, Django and of Networking
Program something that relates to Python and networking not sure yet what it will be. I found something called PythonNet bind in pdf that should work with programming in python and networking.
