Space X's Starship rocket launch test, which is expected to be its first orbital flight test from Boca Chica, Texas, could take place as early as next week, according to a planning notice posted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Tuesday. The launch's primary expected date is April 10, with backup dates listed as April 11 and 12.
However, the FAA has not yet granted Space X a launch license for the test, and the agency's notice should not be interpreted as an indicator that a determination to issue a license has been made or is forthcoming, according to the FAA.
