SEBI relaxes restrictions on more than 200 entities::

 On Tuesday, SEBI has allowed certain relaxations to the entities, which were barred from the securities market in three different cases. The authority has also given the permission to deal in government securities and invest in Exchange Traded Fund (ETF). SEBI has relaxed restrictions from more than 200 entities. The regular has taken strict action in the case of misuse of stock market platform for tax evasion and even money laundering activities were suspected. The entities can now enter into delivery based transaction in cash segment in NSE Nifty 500 index as well as S&P BSE 500 shares and subscribe to mutual funds. The authority gave relaxation to 122 entities out of 178 entities, which also include Pine Animation.

Low procurement rate might influence Railway projects::

 On Thursday, the Cabinet Committee of India has approved Rs 24000 crore investments for Railways. The funds have been approved in order to expand the track. Not only the track expansion is important but also the committee has relased fund for decongestion of rail routes. The Vice Chancellor and Managing Director of Titagarh Wagons, Umesh Chowdhary in a meeting with the media shared his view and said that the Railways might not be able to achieve its targets due to low procurement rates. The Vice Chancellor also added that phenomenal jump has been observed in the implementation of railway projects.

Mawana Sugar Mill has been asked to pay Rs. 180 cr dues by November::

 Mawana Sugar Mill has been asked to pay its outstanding dues of Rs. 180 Crore to farmers by November this year, a district administration official said today.  The Company has also been instructed to submit an action plan concerning the repayment, within three days, The District Magistrate of Meerut, Jagat Raj said.

‘The administration wants to make certain that the farmers get proper and timely payment. An FIR has already been filed against Mawana sugar mill. If they fail to pay the outstanding by November, strict action will be taken against them,’ Jagat Raj added.

On the other hand, Mohiuddinpur sugar mill, Daurala sugar mill and Sakoti sugar mill have already paid their dues completely at the rate of Rs. 280 per kg, while Nanglamal sugar mill and Kinauni sugar mill have paid at the rate of Rs. 230 per kg.

Cisco Systems will lay off about 14,000 employees: Report::

 The Cisco Systems, which is brand name in field of hardware, will be cutting 20 percent of the global workforce of network equipment maker. California based grand company, Cisco will be firing 14,000 employees within next few weeks as per the sources. The reason for this announcement of cutting down the work force is the transition of the company from hardware roots to a software centric organization. As per the record, company is having more than 70,000 employees as of April 30. The company is acquiring different skill sets in order to make bright future in software. Twitter Suspends 2,35,000 More Accounts in terror crackdown:

 Twitter suspended 235,000 accounts for violating its policies concerning promotion of terrorism at the global one-to-many messaging service, the company said.

‘The world has witnessed a further wave abhorrent terror attacks across the globe and we strongly condemn these acts and remain committed to eradicating the promotion of violence on our platform.’ Twitter said in a statement.

Twitter’s latest action brings the total number of accounts that the company has suspended to 360,000 since it began cracking down on terrorism and violent extremism in the middle of 2015, according to the San Francisco-based company.

The latest account suspensions came since February, when Twitter declared that it had neutralized 125,000 accounts for violating rules against violent threats and promotion of terrorism.

Apple to boost investments in China: Reports Says::

 Apple Inc is boosting up its investment in China, building a new facility in the country, as per reports concerning the tech-maker’s plans for the region.

Chief Executive Tim Cook is said to have disclosed the plans, which supposedly include building up a research and development (R&D) centre – in a meeting with the senior China official Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli, citing Chinese state television.

The centre will come together Apple’s engineering and operations teams in China and is also planned to deepen the company’s ties to partners and universities, the statement released.

Financial details released in July showed that Apple’s sales in China have slowed significantly, with the region dropping down to the company’s 3rd-biggest market from second place. Apple’s biggest market is now the United States, followed by Europe.

 The official informed that Dena Bank will open four more branches of It with the facility of ATM in Rajasthan by the end of this year. He also informed the media that the bank would open total fifty branches in the state. Centre discusses majors to save onion growers from price fall::

 The issues related to the fall in onion prices were discussed in the meeting on Wednesday. The meeting was held for the concern of falling prices of onion in Maharashtra in which Food Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh, NCP chief and former Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar participated. Not only them but also three other ministers attended the meeting, where the centre reviewed the price situation and discussed the possibility of buying more onions from farmers in order to save their interest. The centre has asked the state government to send a formal proposal in order that the market intervention can be undertaken by agency Nafed. The cooperative Nafed had already procured 15,000 tonnes of onion.
