Technically A Loss
You can't find someone
when you yourself is lost.
Feeling never to be good enough,
regardless of who you come across.
So you settle for a tie
that's technically a loss.
Reverting back to what you know.
Where your dim light mimics a bright glow.
Only to realize you never left that place at all.
