The best part about people doing lighter versions of NaNo and titling it something like JaNoWriMo is that not a single syllable in "NaNoWriMo" actually stands for "November"

My biggest fear is that DoS gets super popular with a fandom and all and someone correctly identifies the gender fuckery going on with Seth but headcanons her as a trans woman. Bc, like, she's a trans man to me but in a "so far in the egg you'll never see the light of day" type of way
Idk how it happened but I love that most of writeblr seems to have just kinda latched onto Ellipsus. I keep seeing a bunch of people I follow sharing software updates. Or they post screenshots of snippets with a very familiar UI.
Not complaining, tho. I'm an Ellipsus user too.
I've been listening to The Silt Verses and I've come to the conclusion that I should make the DoS religions weirder
Writing fanfic on my phone during a class reunion dinner because I am a well-adjusted individual
Got over some writer's block!! Yippee!!!
It's literally 1AM but I just discovered the aria "Come away, death" by Thomas Arne and????? Most Dora-coded song I've ever heard??????????
Dumb worldbuilding idea: standard fantasy story in which an adventurer sets out on a journey to uncover some lost secret of an ancient civilization/whatever that the kingdom keeps under wraps, following the words of an old mentor who is the only one who still dares speak the truth.
Except that then it turns out that it was all basically pseudoarchaeology and the old guy is the fantasy equivalent of a conspiracy theorist. The world they're in is actually completely normal like ours and the kingdom isn’t covering anything up.
