Also, I’m doing things with my Sherlock rn and my slightly tipsy brain read ‘Severus’ as ‘Sherlock’ and I was very confused. But then suggested the two comiserating over being social outcasts with weird names no one has ever heard of before.

To add to your point: Writing men shown to have canonical female love interests as strictly gay is also hella erasing bisexuality/pansexuality. If it were really about representation people would be using those labels too, not just 'OMG GAY'.

Something that makes me go from 0-nuclear in no time flat: making Galactic Womanizer, has slept with everything vaguely feminine across SEVERAL species, James Tiberius Kirk strictly Gay. 

If there was EVER going to be a posterboy for pansexuality, unrestrained by the limits of syndicated TV, it would be him.

     Dean hadn’t intended for it to be a malicious question, but he was surprised that Malfoy hadn’t been all that aggressive with his defence. 

     In any case, what he’d really been trying to ask was why the blond boy was still here specifically, in the Leaky Cauldron, drinking. Most of the regular patrons had left by now, and the only reason Dean was still at the counter and not sweeping the floors was because Malfoy was here too. 

          “S’pose you’re right,” he shrugged, trying not to think about how awful Azkaban would be. Dementors on their own would be enough to give him nightmares for days. “Can I get you another drink?”

So funny story I first saw you on a masterlist, somehow missed the links at the top of your blog & went 'oh, no rules/about kbye' and then I think you followed my Severus & I forgot that I'd already looked at your blog, saw the links this time, & got pretty excited, because 'holy cow! A lily who shows actual autonomy! Without trying to make her 'edgy'!' and now you're one of my favourite people, period.

           Aaaah! Now I’m going to worry about them not being obvious. Though I’m not sure how I could make them more visible. Lily’s autonomy is vitally important to me; it’s far too often overlooked or reduced to a satellite around someone else, whether James and/or Severus, or Harry, or even Ginny.

     Alright, so they might have gotten to know a few things about each other during their travels, but this one was new. Hermione had been making herself a cup of tea and had planned on settling down in the chair by the fireplace, when she had heard it. Or…him. She had never heard Draco SINGING before, which might have been why she wondered whether or not she was imagining things at first. When the singing didn´t stop, however, Hermione made her way through the house and eventually stopped at the bathroom door.

     For a moment she stood there, lips curled into a smile, before she turned around to make her way back towards the living room. She´d ask him about this later, for now she was happy that he seemed to be doing better than before.
