Okay. 

    This is kind of a big thing for me, and I’ve waffled back and forth on it, but I’m giving it a try. As of NOW, Lily has been moved to a MULTIMUSE (along with Petunia). That means that ALL my muses are on ONE BLOG, so I don’t have to split my attention and thus (hopefully) can give everyone more attention. 

I can’t guarantee that this is going to last. I’ve been ‘DefiantCharms’ for a long freaking time, but I really think this will help me. So, at least for now, Lily can be found here:

“Oh,” she pauses; it occurs to her that she has never met a muggle before, but also that it would probably do neither of them any good to gawk about that in said muggle’s presence.  “Pleased to meet you–and congratulations.  Wedding in the family, all that.”  She realizes now that in trying not to make a thing is this, she likely has.  Not her best, she can admit.

    Amazing how she’d already learned that kind of ‘oh’. What it meant, or really, what the pause that follows it meant. It makes her smile go a little sharper, a little predatory, warning off the wix from turning her into some sort of pet. Had proven fairly effective thus far, baring some issues with Sirius who was his own bundle of issues. “Yeah well. I was supposed to get married first, but Potter over there caused my fiance to dump me so,” she shrugged her shoulders. “Least they could do was let me come to the wedding.” A vast, rough over simplification, but besides the fact that Petunia was enjoying the other woman’s clear discomfort a bit, there was a total absence of any real venom in the statement. If anything, there was a clear fondness for the newly wed couple.

She recognized most of the faces present here, or picked up quickly, save for one.  She could only imagine the ever uncomfortable occasion of someone else’s wedding was only made more odd knowing few; her sympathies went out to the other woman.  

“Porcia Catonis,” she couldn’t imagine that name meant much, outside of the circles her family ran in.  “I went to school with the couple, two years above ‘em.”  She pauses, looking her over.  “Did you?  I don’t think I’ve seen you.”

       Her laugh isn’t entirely free from a bitter edge; time still needs to wear down some rough edges. “Nope!” She pops the ‘p’, giving the woman a grin. “I’m the secret sister of the bride. Petunia Evans” Her finger taps the side of her nose knowingly. “Muggle, you know. Didn’t go to school with anyone here.”

          “So, who are you, anyway?” Petunia had been asking that a lot. Aside from the central two participants and three secondary players, she had no idea who anyone at this wedding was. What had seemed like a problem three glasses of champagne ago now felt like a minor annoyance to be fixed. Loudly. And bluntly. (Not that Petunia ever did anything otherwise.)

                    A soft smile as she nuzzled against the other girl, noses bumping before she closed the rest of the distance. Harry was napping on a blanket laid out in a spot of sun on the floor and she and Alice were curled together, enjoying the easy, peaceful moment where nothing was exploding, the world wasn’t ending, and no one wanted to kill them.

“Alas, I’m lazy.” A flippant answer far from the truth; she didn’t know what she wanted. It was hard to not feel the heavy weight of Scott’s disapproval, and it prickled uncomfortably at her skin. Still, she indulges him, pursing her lips as she thought hard. “...a molecule?”
